The City of Geneva offers a vast selection of wine, brew, spirits, casual and fine dining experiences to choose from. In downtown alone, you will find over 32 restaurants within a four-block range that will satisfy your appetite for breakfast, lunch, dinner, desert and even the snacks in between.
Many restaurants offer local favorites and use ingredients that have been grown or produced in the Finger Lakes Region. Whether you feel like dining inside or outside, each establishment's unique atmosphere will offer you an experience unlike any other.
Many events in Geneva offer a taste of the Finger Lakes that will leave you thirsting for more. Check out the Rose Soiree that is held every June on Linden Street, and the Finger Lakes Fire and Smoke BBQ Competition. These are just two examples of how Geneva strives to offer you the best.

Within the City of Geneva you will find plenty of activities and places to visit if you are traveling with children. The City offers 13 different public parks, eight playgrounds, a disc golf course, a full turf arena and ice rink, swimming locations, and kid-friendly dining.
The City has been nominated as a Playful City by Kaboom for the past five consecutive years. The Geneva Recreation Department, along with other non-profit entities like the Boys and Girls Club of Geneva, the Geneva Public Library, the Geneva Community Center, and the Geneva YMCA host and facilitate many festivals, events and activities that children and teenagers of all ages enjoy.
Children aren't the only ones who have fun in Geneva! There are plenty of opportunities for adults to get out and have some recreational and healthy activity. Geneva supports events such as the Musselman Triathlon, the Seneca7, Stand-Up Paddleboard Yoga, and so much more. Whether you are biking, walking, running, or interested in trying something new, Geneva is the place you can go to have fun.

During the summer of 2016, there were over 72 music events in the City of Geneva. The first Friday of every month, a local intersection of art and business brings the locals and visitors alike out into down, celebrating and exploring the city during Geneva Night Out
The Smith Opera House, one of Geneva's finest treasures, along with the Geneva Historical Society, bring about many opportunities for you to experience the historical and contemporary culture the City has to offer.
