Industrial Development Agency (IDA)
Agency Overview
The Geneva IDA is one of the city's longest standing economic development partners. The IDA has been involved in the revitalization of downtown Geneva for over 20 years, providing financing and project incentive support. The IDA has also been a funding and advisory partner on the Business Improvement District's (BID) Full Occupancy Initiative, New York Main Street grant programs, Microenterprise Assistance Program, and the city's comprehensive plan development. The IDA can provide property tax relief, sales and mortgage tax exemptions, and land-cost write-downs for qualified projects.
Meetings
The Geneva IDA board meets monthly on the Friday after the first Wednesday of each month at 8:30am. All IDA meetings* can we be viewed live or recorded on our Geneva IDA YouTube page.
Per Executive Order 202.1, meetings may take place via video conference. Reference the Agenda for each meeting to confirm the location.
