Recruiting Part Time Payroll Clerk

Candidate will utilize their detail oriented and highly responsible attitude to oversee the Geneva city payroll system. Candidate must have thorough knowledge of all aspects of the payroll process, high level of accuracy and demonstrate a high degree of confidentiality.

Max Hours: 35 bi-weekly
Wage: 18$/hour (19$/hour if bilingual)

Qualifications:

  • Previous experience with all aspects of processing payroll-data entry, direct deposit, benefits, federal & state forms, reports, various deductions, payroll calculations, etc.
  • Strong working knowledge of federal and state laws & regulations
  • Comprehensive knowledge of payroll processes
  • Ability to work with minimal supervision while maintaining confidentiality of data
  • Proficient with Microsoft Office
  • Demonstrate strong attention to detail, self-motivated, team oriented, well organized and customer service driven
  • Able to multi-task on a daily basis
