Under the Governor’s most recent update, playgrounds are now allowed to be reopened. While we are excited for this announcement, we want to remind the public of a few things to help keep everyone safe as you head to the parks:
Please continue to practice social distancing and wear face coverings when feasible and unable to distance, even when outside. Babies and toddlers up to 2 years old, those with breathing conditions, or those unable to remove their own masks are not required to wear face coverings.
Remember to continue practicing good hygiene and wash hands or use a hand sanitizer regularly, especially before and after eating, using the restrooms, or playing with/on shared equipment. Playground equipment is not sanitized.
Please stay home if you or a member of your household are not feeling well, especially if they are exhibiting symptoms associated with COVID-19. And if you must sneeze or cough, please do so into your elbow or use a tissue.
Basketball may be played with same household members may play on open courts with their own equipment.
Thank You. Stay Well. Stay Safe.
