New Way to Submit Code & Public Work Complaints
The City has created a new email, complaints@geneva.ny.us, to receive all code and DPW complaints. Once a complaint is emailed to the new address, it will be forwarded to its correct department, either Development Services or Department of Public Works, and followed up on by City staff. Please utilize the new email address as we continue phasing out SeeClickFix.
Types of complaints that should be sent to the new email include potential code violations (such as overgrown grass, illegal animals, broken windows, etc.) and issues that would require DPW notification (such as missing street signs, overflowing public trash cans, discarded items on City property, etc.).
In your email to complaints, please be as detailed as possible in describing the situation that needs attention. Be sure to include address, or closest intersection if there is no numerical address, and description of complaint.
By submitting complaints to the new email address, the City will be able to better track each complaint, and gather data regarding submitted complaints. For any questions, please reach out to DPW or Development Services.
