Attention Residents and Property owners in the vicinity of  Castle Street and Maxwell Avenue.  New York State Electric and Gas (NYSEG) will be upgrading natural gas utility main and service piping from Castle Street through Lafayette Ave on Maxwell Avenue.  Work is expected to start the week of January 4, 2021 and take approximately two months to complete.  Extreme weather and COVID-19 restrictions may impact schedules.  Final restorations will be completed in the spring.  Affected property owners will be notified by mail directly from NYSEG.  If you have any questions about this project please feel free to contact Joe Venuti in the City Engineering Department at 315-789-3101
