Interested in public comment at the Geneva Human Rights Commission Monthly Meetings?
In light of events and the transition from in person to zoom meetings we felt is a was necessary to send out a memo to our residents letting them know “They are not alone.” You can still join our monthly meetings virtually and are able to sign up ahead of time to speak.
We have moved public comment to the beginning portion of our monthly meetings open to residents who would like to join in virtually to address the GHRC with issues, concerns, suggestions or just to have a listening ear.
Tentatively, Geneva Human Rights Commission Meetings are the 2nd Tuesday of every month at 5:30pm via zoom.
Zoom invite and agenda are available via our City Website or contact Erica Collins at ecollins@geneva.ny.us for more information and/or to sign up for public comment. We ask that if you wish to speak please do so by signing up with Erica, the Monday prior to the meeting. For our January meeting public comment sign ups are due by Monday, January 11th at 4pm.
Additionally, if you have any complaints or concerns regarding housing or rental discrimination, please contact the city’s fair housing officer Erica Collins at ecollins@geneva.ny.us.
We hope that you all stay safe, healthy, and peaceful.
