City Council has formed a Community Committee as as part of this search process and they will have their first meeting on 04.18.18.
Members are: Michele Barrett, Pastor Juan Colon, Tony DiCostanzo, Robb Flowers, Rev. Donald Golden, Pat Guard, Matt Horn, Tom Kime, Chris Lavin, Dave Linger, Lucile Mallard, Mike Manikowski, Nick Massa, Victor Nelson, Anne Nenneau, Trina Newton, Jeremy Sharkley, Rob Sollene, Lara Turbide, and Andy Tyman.
The timeline that City Council is using is as follows:
City Council has met in Executive Session and Council reviewed applications and prepared for the telephone interviews. The telephone interviews (and follow from) did include City Council, City Clerk, Human Resource Director, and the City Manager Search Community Committee. There were seven candidates that have reached the phone interview process.
After the phone interview steps have been completed, this concluded the work of the Search Community Committee. City Council will be the body that moves the process further to selection of the next City Manager. The phone interviews are now complete and three candidates remain. There was an Executive Session before the 6/6/18 Council Meeting for Council to decide next steps. City Council would like to thank all of the members of the City Manager Search Community Committee for all of their time and input in the process.
Council should have their list of candidates that they want to bring in for in-person interviews by the week of 6/11/18.
Staff and City Council are interviewing three candidates in person 6/18-6/20.
Possible appointment could be 8/1/18.
